    Global average CO₂ value measured in parts per million. Based on consolidated historical series (e.g., NOAA / Mauna Loa).

    • < 400 ppm: high level compared to the pre-industrial era, but in line with modern values.
    • 400–450 ppm: band of strong climate attention.
    • > 450 ppm: critical threshold, compatible with extreme climate scenarios.

    Ozone in the atmosphere (Dobson unit)

    Total amount of ozone in the atmospheric column above a given area, expressed in Dobson units (DU). Typically satellite data.

    • Renewables > 50%: generally virtuous mix.
    • Fossils > 50%: high dependence on gas and coal.

    Plastic recycling (%)

    Share of plastic sent for recycling compared to the total released for consumption (national statistical sources).

    • < 30%: low recycling level.
